The Carry On seems too big. Is this within airline standards? +
If it looks big, it is! It's been designed to maximise how much you can bring onto a plane with you.
The Carry On is designed perfectly for all Australian and International airline standards, as well as international standards too.
Airlines have hard linear dimension rules (all sides must add up to 115cm) but the dimensions in which the case reaches this number are just guidelines, as long as it adds up to 115.
The July Carry On is 115 linear cms, and fits perfectly for all airlines.
We have flown with almost every major domestic and international carrier with the July Carry On and tested them for sizing across all.
Why does personalisation delay my shipment? +
Our resident artists hand paint each letter to give you a unique and personal touch to your July journey. All personalised cases take a little longer to prepare due to the fact they are created bespoke. Expect a 2-3 week turnaround from order to arrival.
Do you ship internationally? +
We ship worldwide! DHL will be used to deliver your July case in record time.
What does shipping cost? +
Shipping is free across Australia. There is an additional shipping charge for any country outside of Australia.
When will I receive my order? +
Australian and New Zealand customers will receive their July case 3 - 5 business days after stock arrives in July’s distribution centre, and international customers 5-10 business days after that depending on where you live in the world.
What is the detail around your 100-day risk free return policy? +
We have designed this carry-on to be the perfect travel companion. Beautiful and unbreakable, we give you 100 days to try it for yourself. If you decide that this is not the case for you, you can send it back to us for free and we’ll reimburse you your money. Easy.
What does lifetime warranty mean? +
We design and build our cases at the highest manufacturing standard possible. Our guarantee means that for the lifetime of the case if something isn’t quite right we’re happy to repair or replace it anywhere you are in the world, at no cost to you. The ejectable battery has a 2-year limited warranty.
Can I return or exchange my case? +
You can return or exchange your case should it not be the right fit for you. Please email our customer happiness team and we’ll arrange the shipping labels for you.
Australian customers: shipping is free
Everywhere else: you are responsible for returning the case to us including associated costs
How does the july Carry On pack so many features at such a low price point? +
Most luggage brands sell through retailers and distributors, adding on markup along the way and by the time it reaches you it’s almost triple the cost. We partnered with a best-in-class manufacturing facility and created our own wheels, casing and battery components to deliver the best result without compromise. July only sells direct, meaning we avoid all the markups of our competitors and get the best bag to you at a significantly lower price.
What are the details around the Ejectable Battery? +
The ejectable battery has two USB and one USB-C ports that can charge your phone and your laptop simultaneously. It ejects from the case in order to be compliant with airline flight regulations and allows for easy transportation should you want to use it for anything else.
It complies with all regulations from individual airlines, and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), and Department of Infrastructure: Aviation (DOI).
Each July case also comes with its own charging cable.
